    Take a producer responsibility approach

Companies signing up to #CleanSeas are asked to show their commitment by investing in systems and operations that will significantly reduce plastic use in their value chain. This may mean purchasing new equipment, assigning budget to resource recovery, investing in research and development, or increasing labour resources.

Producer responsibility should be a focus. If you produce plastic which will be discarded, work with your customers and community to design a way to ensure your packaging and products do not become marine plastic pollution.
