    Leg 4 Day 4

    I know the meaning of the word, which Neal McDonad uses so much when he thinks we will get lots of bow waves: “banging”. He says that when the boat hits the wave, she does “bang”, leading to the “banging”.

    The situation inside the boat is as tough, but the left shift didn’t play the role we expected either. It has gone to the right and, as a result, we aren’t very well positioned compared to the fleet.

    Cape says that the weather models are not reliable at all and that anything can happen. We hope that Telefónica’s charms will bring us luck and, maybe, stop the “banging”.

    We had a pretty tough night, because we had to tack several times and change sails too, so the team is tired. It’s normal then that everyone, who is on deck without working, makes the most out of it to rest.

    I have to go, there is some movement on board.
