Team Sanya take DHL Shore Crew Award
Team Sanya took the prestigious DHL Shore Crew Award for the Volvo Ocean Race 2011-12 at the race finale in Galway. Despite suffering numerous setbacks - a serious of rough legs forced Sanya out of the water for nearly two months - the team continued to pull together to overcome all adversity. Heroic efforts from the team's shore crew saw the first ever Chinese entrant to the Volvo Ocean Race complete the epic nine month race with pride and boat intact. Here we bring you some of the highlights of the Team Sanya shore crew's spectacular work.
